JetSeat firmware reload procedure

If your JetSeat device suddenly looks dead, you should try to reload its firmware, following this simple procedure. It takes about 5 minutes or less. Please make sure that the power supply unit is connected when you do that, since Gametrix JetSeat doesn't take any power from the USB port.
  1. Download Firmware Reload Kit , unzip it somewhere;
  2. plug in the device into USB port;
  3. unplug the device from USB port;
  4. switch off the device power;
  5. plug in the device into USB port;
  6. press and hold buttons MODE and MOTORS;
  7. holding the buttons, switch on the device power (at the very first time Windows will discover a new Z-Boot device); *
  8. release buttons;
  9. wait until drivers for new device installed;
  10. start FirmwareLoader.exe;
  11. load firmware into device by pressing the button with a red arrow and Russian text "Обновить", select to open v2_57.vkb file and wait till the final "OK". At this stage you should see increasing number of loaded firmware blocks displayed up to #84;


Please do not expect the light to become on, flashing or any other similar activity at this step. If you see nothing but strange characters in the loader window that's fine, since your PC most likely doesn't support Russian locale by default.

12. unplug the device from USB port;
13. switch off the device power;
14. plug in the device into USB port;
15. switch on power and check if the device works.
* - if you can't see any Windows activity at this step, it is worth to try to keep going anyway.
